“Jessica, you came. I had hoped you’d come when you heard I was sick, but it’s been so long I couldn’t be sure.

You look just the same as I remember. You’re still my little girl. No matter how grown up you’ve become, you’ll always be my little girl to me. ”

“I love you, dad. I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner. I’ve been so busy with my career, but that’s all settled now and from now on I’m going to spend as much time with you as you want. We’re going to do the scary rides at Busch Gardens together, maybe even do Disney. And we’re going to go back to the park with our cameras and take videos of alligator hatchlings, photos of shadows and bugs and we’re going to take walks and talk like we used to. I love you, dad. ”

“I love you too, baby girl. As soon as I get better will do all those things. It is amazing how young you look, just like you did when you were little and you lived in that room across the way, the room I painted pink because I thought you’d love that color. I never changed it and all of your things are still there, just the way you left it. ”

“Get some rest now, dad. We can do everything starting tomorrow. ”

“I am feeling tired, but just one hug my baby girl and I’ll sleep. ”
