This Can’t Go On
I watched in horror as George Bush and his minions executed shock and awe on Baghdad. And I’ve seen mothers scream and tear-streaked fathers holding their dead sons and daughters thanks to our drone strikes in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a nation, we cannot claim the high ground. We, the outraged Americans could do nothing to stop our own homegrown monster, because the call was coming from inside the house.
